The Ultimate Adriatic Challenge - Palagruža Offshore Odyssey
Embark on an
epic 6-day offshore challenge, sailing non-stop to the remote island of Palagruža and back. Located in the
open Adriatic, halfway between the Croatian and Italian coasts, Palagruža offers a true offshore experience.
This challenging course is designed for experienced sailors seeking to test their limits and gain valuable skills in long-distance navigation, heavy weather sailing, and managing a watch system.
We'll face the elements, harness the power of the wind, and push ourselves to achieve a remarkable sailing feat. This is an unforgettable adventure for those who crave the ultimate offshore challenge.
On this unique course, organized by Veruda Sailing
School in cooperation with legendary capehorner Saša Fegić, we'll get a first-hand account of his great sea adventure - a west to east circumnavigation against the odds through the traitorous Southern ocean, around three great capes (Cape of Good Hope, Leeuwin and Cape Horn) on a tiny 10-meter, 40-year old boat.
With five ocean crossings and 38.000+ nautical miles sailed in two and a half years, Saša can share some offshore insights only a circumnavigator can provide.
On top of that personal experience, each participant in this Palagruža Offshore Odyssey will become a proud owner of a copy of Saša's bestselling book "My way around the world" (also available on Amazon).
