Our fully booked crew of five transformed from students into a racing team, conquering the 606-mile "most beautiful race in the world" and finishing strong. See for yourself what our 2025 alumni had to say about their journey.

Rolex Middle Sea Race 2025 Crew in Action
"I had a fantastic time doing the Middle Sea Race with Robert, his attention to detail while sailing and knowing how to get the most out of his boat was great to work with!

Lovely vibe onboard, I'd happily come back for a delivery or another race!"

— Tom Moody, UK
"I completed the 2025 Rolex Middle Sea Race with S/Y Buri and Robert as skipper. It was a fantastic experience!

Robert is great to sail with — calm and confident on the helm, but also fun and easygoing when off watch. He’s an excellent sailor and always happy to share his knowledge and experience with the crew. I'd definitely sail with him again!"

— Christoforos Chatzikomis, Greece

Rolex Middle Sea Race

A thunderous crash of cannons from the Saluting Battery as sailboats set off from Malta's historic Grand Harbour. The Rolex Middle Sea Race is a 606-nautical-mile odyssey that takes you on a challenging anti-clockwise circumnavigation of Sicily. You'll set off from Malta's historic Grand Harbour, a natural amphitheater where competitors depart to the thunderous crash of cannons from the Saluting Battery.

A racing crew on an offshore sailboat. Behind the boat, the large volcanic cone of Stromboli volcano is visible, spewing clouds of steam. The race route passes by active volcanoes like Mount Etna and Stromboli, takes you through the Strait of Messina, and past rugged, legendary islands before returning to Malta's iconic harbor.

This is more than a race; it's a test of skill, a battle against the elements, and an unforgettable adventure through some of the most beautiful and myth-imbued seas in the world.

As the iconic Humphrey Bogart once mused from the very shores of Malta, this is truly "the stuff that dreams are made of."
